Hi,

I love your player. Mainly because it doesn’t switch back to the computers desktop when switching from one playlist video to the next in fullscreen mode. (Which VLC even in the actual version still does). But I have one question left: VLC supports Dolby Digital Playback via SPDIF. Kantaris does not support it I guess? My Receiver does not switch to Dolby Digital when playing the same movie with Kantaris. And I couldn’t find something in the settigs. So is there Dolby Digital Support planned for one of the next releases?

I love this player. I also did some enhencements for ‘better’ usability:
- instead of visualization the cover image is shown
- if the track has no image, the default.jpg in the track directory is used
- if no default.jpg exists, then the image from the resources is used
- all mp3 titles can be save in a mysql database for later retrieval (by multi file selection or top dir)
- if the shuffle list is empty, tracks for shuffling can be randomly selected from the database (max. count can be set in settings)
- the database can be searched either by treeview – artist’s first char/artist and album or
- artist,album or title (free text search with wildcards)
- found records are displayed in a table. Selected records can be added to the playlist or deleted

Thanks for kind words.
I think having media player playing on top is not really a user friendly idea.music is always in background if you are working.
