Yet another minor update
- Fixed problem with Last.fm radio which broke in version 0.5.3.
- Fixed problems with the hotkeys and some problems downloading subtitles from the online database.
- Added option to set default aspect and crop ratio.

Great player! As a matter of personal taste, I would like to make a plea to go back to ver. 0.4.3 skin. Those angled buttons look sooo great, almost 3D. But, above all, I can finally get rid of WMP, because Kantaris much to my pleasure stole all media files extensions and when I want to play a particular mp3 file, double-click it and I´m done. The KMP player does not behave this way even if it replaces standard Win icons with its own. And anyway, Kantaris icons are nicer. Thanx again!
The best player out there. The hotkeys are indeed fixed in this version. Nice job. The problem with the PLS lists out of synch is that for some reason the album title is highlighted as the first song playing. After that everything is then off by one song between the highlighted file and what is actually playing. This is not a big deal since you can easily see that the song that is actually playing is the one below the highlight line. Thanks for a great media player. The M3U list doesn’t have this problem because the album title is not shown in the list of songs like it is with the PLS list.
Great, I´ve been waiting for it for ages…but, you should try to add a thnig or two, like choosing subtitle font or a little subtitle black bacground similar to for example in bs player…because they dont look too smooth. and I would appreciate a button lets say in general options, which would make kantaris to remebmer screen position, because I always have to put it into corner and its annoying. Thank you, otherwise best player, love the new skin.
xp machine. .5.4 Kantaris. Error: Kantaris has encountered a problem and will close. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Have cleaned registry. Rebooted. Still no luck. I have a Vista machine on which Kantaris runs flawlessly.

Hi, great player, thanks for your job.
I’d like to request a feature. After you watch a trailer , the player goes to reproduction mode and if you want to play another trailer you’ve got to go to the trailer department. I’d suggest that when watching a trailer, once it’s over it stayed in that place since most of us want to see the new trailers. And also maybe add a feature so clicking on the photo starts the trailer without having to read the description (as a enable/disable option i mean, a setting to go straight to the trailer or watch description before).

Not sure if you are collecting bugs/issues but just in case … I am using 0.5.4 on XP3, and when choosing to play a group of files it loads them into the player but always defaults to the bottom of the list – playing one song and then ending. The only way around it appears to show the file list and then click on the top one.
hey, i just wanted to say what a great player kantaris is, and what a wonderful job you have done with it sofar.
these are the things that bug me the most:
-player does not remember window size and window position.
-player does not remember playlist width.
-and lastly the playlist pop’s up even in fullscreen. (maybe you could make it optional)
thanks so much for this, VLC is ugly and boring as hell.
the rabbithole viz comes from the old Sonique player, and i have been searching for something similar for winamp but they all suck. thanks for putting it in kantaris.
